Fintify is a personal portfolio and dividend tracking app designed to help users organize investment records, monitor portfolio value, track dividends, and view estimated passive income.
By using Fintify, you agree to the following terms and disclaimers.
Important Information
Fintify is an independently developed personal tracking and information organization tool. Fintify is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or authorized by any brokerage, exchange, ETF issuer, listed company, market data provider, financial institution, or government agency.
Any stock tickers, company names, ETF names, market identifiers, account labels, or broker labels shown in screenshots, demo data, or sample records are used only as illustrative examples of records that users may manually track. They do not imply any partnership, authorization, endorsement, recommendation, brokerage service, or trading service.
Fintify is built for personal tracking, organization, and informational purposes only. It does not provide financial advice, investment recommendations, tax advice, legal advice, brokerage services, or trading services.
Fintify is not a tax filing or tax advisory tool and does not determine your official TFSA, RRSP, or other contribution room. Please verify contribution limits, tax records, and important financial information with CRA, your brokerage, financial institution, tax advisor, or other qualified professional.
Market data, dividends, exchange rates, and calculations may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate.

Nothing in Fintify should be interpreted as a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, or trade any security, ETF, fund, currency, or other financial instrument.
2. No Investment Recommendations
Fintify does not recommend specific investments, asset allocations, trading strategies, or financial products.
Any portfolio summaries, dividend estimates, yield figures, income forecasts, gain/loss calculations, charts, or other metrics shown in the app are for informational and record-keeping purposes only.
You are responsible for making your own financial decisions.
3. Market Data and Calculation Accuracy
Fintify may display market prices, historical prices, dividends, exchange rates, security metadata, corporate actions, and related financial information from third-party data sources.
Market data may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate.
Calculations in Fintify, including portfolio value, cost basis, gain/loss, dividend income, yield, estimated passive income, currency conversion, and performance metrics, may contain errors or may differ from your brokerage, financial institution, tax documents, or official records.
You should verify important information with your brokerage, financial institution, official market data sources, tax advisor, or other qualified professional before making financial or tax-related decisions.
4. User-Entered Data
Fintify relies on information you enter, import, edit, or maintain in the app.
Incorrect, incomplete, duplicated, outdated, or inconsistent user-entered data may result in inaccurate portfolio summaries, dividend estimates, charts, reports, or other calculations.
You are responsible for reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of your own records.
5. CSV Import and Export
Fintify may allow you to import and export investment records using CSV files.
You are responsible for ensuring that imported CSV files are accurate, properly formatted, and appropriate for use with Fintify.
Exported CSV files may contain investment records and other financial information. You are responsible for storing, backing up, and sharing exported files securely.
6. No Brokerage or Trading Functionality
Fintify does not connect to brokerage accounts for trading purposes and does not execute trades.
Fintify does not provide custody of assets, brokerage accounts, banking services, payment services, tax filing services, or financial planning services.
7. No Guarantee of Availability
Fintify may depend on device storage, network access, operating system behavior, and third-party data providers.
Features may be interrupted, unavailable, delayed, or changed over time.
We do not guarantee that Fintify or any third-party data source will always be available, accurate, complete, or up to date.
8. Data Backup Responsibility
Fintify is designed as a local-first app.
You are responsible for backing up your data, including through CSV export or other methods available to you.
Deleting the app, changing devices, restoring backups, or modifying device settings may affect access to your data.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fintify and its developer are not liable for any losses, damages, costs, or claims arising from your use of the app, reliance on information shown in the app, data inaccuracies, data loss, investment decisions, tax decisions, or third-party data issues.
This includes, but is not limited to, financial losses, investment losses, lost profits, lost data, business interruption, or indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
10. Changes to the App or These Terms
Fintify may be updated, changed, suspended, or discontinued at any time.
These Terms and Disclaimer may be updated from time to time. If changes are made, the effective date above will be updated.
Your continued use of Fintify after changes are made means you accept the updated terms.
